While visiting friends in San Mateo my 2004 Accord left me stranded. Dave and Robert fit me in their schedule and got me on the road the very same day. They took care of everything, did a great job, and at a reasonable price. Now my Accord purrs just like new. I am not from the area and have had my car serviced at several places near home including the dealer but have never been treated as well as at the Honda Hospital. Great job, great customer experience, I wished I lived closer!

I've had my daughter's Honda Accord serviced by Honda Hospital for years.  No they are not the cheapest, but the service is excellent.  I personally rely on my mechanic to inform me of other issues with the vehicle, that doesn't mean that I have to have the work done right away, but it does help with what is called "preventative maintenance".  Also, being able to deal with a woman shop owner is a huge plus.  Kris is awesome.  I never feel like I am getting scammed, but that I get  what I needed at the time it is needed.  There are cheaper mechanics, but not better.

I took my car to get it serviced last year since I did not like going to those large and impersonal dealerships.  Had great service.  Took my car to get an oil change last month, and because they did a thorough inspection, they found a nail in my tired (which they patched up).  They always give friendly recommendations for repairs, but they are never pushy.  Last month while driving along 101, I hit a bucket because I could not avoid it.  The rubber strip on my bumper was loose, so I took it in for them to look at.  They promptly put the strip back in place without charging me!   I thought that was rather nice of them.  Other places would have charged me with out blinking.  Their prices for repairs cost about the same as those dealerships.  The only minus is that the technicians leave at 4 each day, so you would have to get your car in early if you want it be done that same day.  Taking the car back to get its minor service next month.

(note from the Honda Hospital Team: our technicians work until 4:30, sometimes later in effort to get your car back to you the same day)

 

To all of you at Honda Hospital:
I just received your new booklet and want to congratulate you and take the time to thank you for the stupendous work you've done on my Honda since 1988 in San Mateo. I'm going for 300,000 and it's because of the great work that you have done for me these past years. I have moved to American Canyon and I fear I must change my service area. I have had an alternator problem and had to find someone local, as the car had to be towed. I was fortunate to find a highly recommended "honda hospital" here in American Canyon. He also gives you his recommendations. He told me that it was obvious that whoever had been working on my car not only knew what they were doing but took the best care doing it. He said that he had never seen a Honda as old as mine, as clean as mine under the hood! (now, if I could only find someone to clean the inside as well.) Anywho, I may not have gotten this letter off if I had to sit down with pen in hand, so I am also grateful that you have email now. Your service has been outstanding and my trust in you has been rewarded with many miles of care-free driving and my Honda and I thank you for that.

Gentlemen:
I just want to take the time to thank you for the wonderful job done on my air conditioner recently.  I always "think" these little "thank you's" in my mind but rarely take the time to actually express them to the person who performed the service.The air conditioner actually runs better than it ever did.  It seems like a small miracle that actual cool air comes out when I turn it on.  It makes the twice-a-week grind from San Mateo to San Jose so much more comfortable on those hot days.

Dear Everyone at Honda Hospital:
I am writing to thank you for taking such good care of my 1993 Honda Accord the last four years.  Since I am moving to Monterey in two months, and am hoping not to have any repairs done before then, I probably won't be seeing you again.  Do you have a shop in Monterey?????

Your service has been outstanding -- being the classic person who knows nothing about how cars work, I was always afraid of being ripped off by mechanics.  I was referred to you by my boss, and he was right -- your mechanics are not only talented at finding and resolving problems, but they are trustworthy in every way.

I can't count the number of times I came in "with a weird noise", and you told me I  really didn't need any work done yet.  You always took the time to explain things to me, the repairs were always the best quality and you are the cheapest!  When I was in this week, you even put gas in my car!!  I especially thank Elliot for detecting the frame damage on my car and whoever suggested I make another claim to my insurance for an old accident (which ended up saving me over $400.)  You guys are the greatest and I will continue to recommend your shop to everyone I know who has a Honda.
